Teachers respond to student misunderstanding of concepts with detailed explanation of what it is they're supposed to know or do.
Students respond to teacher clarification with another attempt to correct their misunderstanding. In small groups, students discuss the issues together. As students confide in one another, they share this new knowledge.
After sometime has passed, all students form one huge group and all the wok is discussed.

This is an awesome strategy to motivate peer interaction when students need extra opportunity to search for understanding of "unclear" topics. I will use this strategy during in-class projects and assignments to provoke student discussion.
