Colored Cups
Teacher gives grouped in 3 or 4, 3 colored cups.
Green cup indicates they are doing well.
Yellow cup indicates they need help.
Red cup indicates they are stuck and need help.
Using the cup system allows the teacher to gauge student understanding without embarrassing students. Students will free more open to express their true proficiency of course material if negative stigma does not accompany their comprehension.

This tool will be used anytime students are working in groups. I can mingle around the room and immediately determine their awareness levels.
